Viewing the Event Calendar: The portal has a new calendar that lets the
local free users post events about their businesses or social organizations.
Businesses may be having a seminar they may want to post, the Kiwanis may be having
a fund raiser function, there are many events locally that can be posted.
The small calendar shown above shows in the front page of the portal, as well as on the
top of the main index page for the classifieds. If you click the arrows to go to
the next or previous month, it takes you to a larger calender like the one below.
A local free user posts an event by logging into their classified account, selects
"Create" from their control panel, and then selects "Calender" in the drop down
box for the category. The next category they select the day for the event.
If someone posts an event the day of the event automatically becomes a red clickable
link, as seen here on the 18th and the 20th.
When you click on the day of the event, it takes you to the event posted by the user,
which is like the classified advertisements, with links to their "Me Pages".
