Viewing the address book:
The address book is a very powerful part of your free users's "Me Pages". This is where
you make your friends and decide who will show up on your "Friends Pages" that is
viewable by the general public.
This is also where your free user can send private email, as these people have given them
permission to do so.

Make Friend Button: If your free user wants to recommend someone in your address book
as a good person to do business with, they click the "Make Friend" button and that will
bring up a page that looks like this:
On the "make a friend" page your free user is asked if they want to recommend this person as
a good person to do business with. It also notifies them that their comments, and a link to
their "Me Page" will be added to this users "Me Page." This will help more people to see
their "Me Page" because other people browsing the person they recommend's "Me Page" will
click to look at your free user's "Me Page" also.
By making friends you get more exposure, but more importantly, you get more credibility
if a lot of people are recommending you as a good person to do business with.
If your free user decides to click the button to make the other member a friend, they
are asked to post comments about doing business with them. These are the comments that
will show up on the other member's "Me Page".
If you choose to set someone as a friend, they are sent email that you have done so,
and this way they may also set you as a friend. This will help both of you out.

Delete Button: If your free users do not want this person to be in their address book they can
easily delete them. Also, if they do not like what this person is saying about them, and
it is showing on their "My Friends" page publicly, they can delete them from their address
book and they will no longer appear on your free user's "My Friends" page.

Update Notes Button: If your free users want to update the comments they have made about
any of their "friends" they can do so here.

Send Private Email to Portal Director Button: Your free users can use this to
send you private messages. This may be used if they are wanting to purchase advertising
from you without depending on email which gets lost way too often. This button is on
all address books so they may contact you easily if needed.

are new to sales the industry standard is normally 10%. This in no way guarantees
you will have these percentages, but some of our directors report 25% closing ratio
once a business owner has been given a full presentation.

Portal Director may sell advertising for Portal Director's assigned portal to any person, business, or area in the world. Portal Director understands that no other entity can sell premium listings for Portal Director's assigned portal without the permission of Portal Director. Portal Director understands that other Portal Directors may sell advertising to any person or business in the town with the same name as Portal Directors portal. Only one portal will be built per town. Portal director has control of assigned portal.
