Depending on where you come from, you may be very surprised to see what Denver looks like.

Denver is in a desert. Not one with cactus, but a desert, nevertheless. Few trees grow in this area, unless they’ve been planted. It doesn’t look at all like the East Coast.

There are some wooded areas in the mountains West of Denver. But living there is generally expensive, especially for a “big lot”..

Basically, you don’t come to Denver for woods or water. It has other charms.

It’s just an old term . In the 30’s and 40’s , whenever an issue came up ( too many wolves taking the sheep, whatever), signs would be posted at the post office that a town hall meeting was taking place.

This is a rally you are going to; it may be called that because it is in some sort of hall. I would get there early or you may nor even get standing room.
